come out of a very abusive marriage and is hiding from her ex husband She is persuaded by her best friend to go out to a bar one night when her friend is killed by a vampire and Sophie is kidnapped by a shape shifter, who of course becomes her lover well, not until after the book ends we assume There is a lot of violence and action so it makes it a fast read The disappointment is in Here is another
