s demons to the sidelines somewhat but what we do have is two characters that demand all the attention in the return of the killer known as the Collector and the deliberate The Whisperers concentrates took me ages to finish this book, not because it was a particularly demanding read, far from it, but because I ve been working late every evening for a while now As such, it was a bit of a disjointed experience, but an enjoyable one This is the first Charlie Parker I ve read, even though it is a late entry to the series.It seems that this was the book s saving grace, if other reviews are to be believed I didn t have any expectations, so the supernatural angle came as a welcome surprise rat It took me ages to finish this book, not because it was a particularly demanding read, far from it,
