I knew nothing about griots before I read this So it was really interesting to see how this oral form of storytelling translated into text There is definitely some things that I feel don t come across discussed in my literature class and we spoke about the uniqueness of African cultured stories It s not my style of reading, but it really was interesting.To be honest I think it would take a couple
