listened to the soundtrack a bazillion times and still have it all memorized to this day So when I see a retelling, I can t help but read it and be pulled into the magic that this fairytale has been to my young heart ok, I may not be as young as I once was but I ll ALWAYS be young at heart I loved the twist that the author put on this one No spoilers so I m not sharing, but I loved it Super clever I would have n...I love Beauty and the Beast and this was a cute retelling set in the Regency era I really liked both Beauty and William, the unique way they initially met and the set up to their relationship, as well as their developing romance I especially loved the garden setting that was the backdrop of their falling in love and the emphasis on roses the moon watching scene in the tower was also adorable While this was a cute rendition of my favorite fairy tale, it was a fairly standard Beauty and the Be I love Beauty and the Beast and this was a cute retelling set in the even betterI never get enough of Beauty and the Beast retellings This one I quite enjoyed, especially being set in a Regency time period I even learned a new term called ha ha , and about rose both had to go through so much to get where they deserved to be...This is a sweet Beauty and the Beast retelling I liked the element of Beauty having already met the duke, albeit in disguise, before she had to go work on his estate, and I liked the Regency setting 3.5 stars.Beauty and the Beast set in Regency England4 1 2 Stars This is the first book I have read by the author, but enjoyed it so much it will not be my last I enjoyed her writing style, as well as her characters came to life in this fairy tale retelling by being true to the Regency England time period.
