false sense of calm during much of the book With lovely fruition of commerce decisions and private and public celebrations of such, there was a sense of almost peace, while waiting for the other shoe to drop I greatly enjoyed excellent descriptions of Lilian s outfits, where I vicariously was both elegant and tall that identifying with the protagonist thing And yup, the other shoe drops Let s just
