Blissfully Blindsided
Blaze Sonnier has had a bad year In the spring she made national news while dressed as the Easter Bunny in a brawl where she was trying to defend herself, and earned the moniker Bitch Slap Bunny In the fall the mother who abandoned Blaze for an acting career showed up on her doorstep, not only injured from an accident but broke and in need of a place to stay While on a bike ride to purge her stress Blaze encounters one small in physical stature only silver lining with a flat tire The job Caleigh Breaux took after graduating college required her to live as a nomad into her late thirties Weary of traveling, hotels and being unable to have a real relationship, she made a career change Though she hoped the change would lead her to meet the woman of her dreams she s stunned when it happens the night she rolls into the town of Falcon, Louisiana In her latest romantic comedy, Robin Alexander has woven another tale with her trademark humor about small town life, family, forgiveness, and falling in love 78,900 words Read Blissfully Blindsided – kino-fada.fr I never read the blurb when the new Robin Alexander comes out because I buy it and put everything else I m reading at that moment on hold and enjoy myself What I ve come to know and love about her stories, her main characters fall into a drama free relationship pretty early in the book They have tons of fun together, they are lovers and best buddies and most importantly they communicate Refreshing, right Also Alexander is one of the only authors who brings a nice dose of hilarity to the bedr I never Alexander books are always a safe bet if one wants to have an hilarious and hysterically funny reading As always, this book is no exception and manages to reach the levels of healthy madness expected at least by me It is curious to see how the younger characters are increasingly eccentric in each new book, something that was previously reserved for the older ones In any case, it is a very entertaining eccentricity, whether on the part of the young or not so young Also as usual, the sto Robin Alexander books are always a safe bet if one wants to have an hilarious and hysterically funny normal and I liked that a lot Nothing super angsty and dramatic, no big obstacle in the relationship, nothing but stupid funny stuff and family interactions The MCs do start dating pretty fast, but mood I was in when I started reading it I love the comedy that Robin writes into her books and at times it s almost a slapstick show.Blaze and Caleigh are fantastic and the story itself of them falling in love is just adorable but there is a second story running alongside them about Caleigh s mum, who has just came back to town after apparently abandoning...This book has zero angst and that was perfect for me Just like Temporary Girl, I read it while on vacation, and it was a wonderful way to escape from the world for a few hours There is conflict, just not a lot of it Full review
