series It s official with this latest installment, Prince of Dreams The series two strongest features are its world and its character development The world Pippa has built is a complicated mix of epic most part of this book my heart was pounding so hard both from fear and pure unadulterated lust that midway through I gave up on trying to finish it sober and went for the bottle of wine I keep for special occasions I m not sure what impact the alcohol had on my perception of the book but I know for sure that I would have had a l I thought that the last book s ending was brutal but Prince of Dreams slayed me The ending is very different yet it packs a similar emotional punch In fact for the most part of this book my heart was pounding so hard both from fear and pure unadulterated lust for sure that I would have had a lot of trouble accepting the ending otherwise You see, this is not the typical series where the main character, while flawed is completely trustworthy Kesh is a basket case due to her upbringing and that makes her unpredictable and not always in a good way But she s trying and at the end of the previous book there was finally some progress on the trust front with Kellee and Talen She was finally thr...flails around How dare you do this to my babies CANT THEY JUST BE HAPPY FOR ONCE And that one part Why do I feel like she s going to be likehe is the droid i was newfound resolve to be the protector of Hallow and free her own people is being severely put to the test but she s come a long way from the girl we met at the beginning of the series Following on from the end of the last book Prince of Dreams sees Kesh back in Faerie with Sirius, trying to find a way to stop Arran s execution, while Kellee and Talen are still back in Hallow trying to figure out a way to get to Faerie to rescue her With both Oberon and Eledan trying to ensure Kesh s loyalty her newfound resolve to be the protector of Hallow and free her own people is being severely put to the test but she s come a long way from the girl we met at the beginning of the series and she s stronger than either of them imagine.This series is just getting better and better and I loved the chance
