time I worked as a NASA contractor for quite a few years and live just a few minutes from Marshall Space Flight Center so my passion for space exploration and all things space related runs quite deep so I love when authors take the time to write about space Books like these not only allow me to live vicariously through the characters butimpo...Suarez has done his homework for this near future asteroid mining SF thriller The book is set in the early 2030s, which seems very soon for some of the technology it extrapolates It gets melodramatic at times, and the characteriza...It felt very tired and the plot overdone Characters were also very predictable and two dimensional.A must read Like everything Suarez has written it is hard to put down This is his best book since Daemon Anyone interested in commercial space, asteroid mining, or just a great sci fi story should read it.Not as good as Change Agent, but pretty good.Boring The plot is tired and the characters aren t great I wanted to like this book, but I just couldn t.
