as well as the rest of the John Carter series and compare it to modern fantasy which is a mistake People please remember that most of Burroughs works are from the early twentieth century this book was published in 1920 which was 93 years ago It was a different time Also these stories started out as serials in pulp magazines they were actioney...I can t put my finger on it, but this isn t my
