these episode collections are definitely worth it, especially for the episode introductions.While not as emotionally gripping as past Night Vale podcast collections, I still found this book to be engaging, funny, and poignant in equal measure Honestly, I think I just love the world of Night Vale so much that even when the story isn t great, I find myself invested The characters I have come to not much to say I did like the illustrationsin this volume than than the previous one and it was nice to get some behind the scenes info about the Welcome to Night Vale novel since this episode collection covers the time when the book ...I love the evolution Cecil s interactions with Steve and I love learningabout different residents of Night Vale The Desert Bluff plot was very interesting and I can t wait to see where it ll leadOf the four books out so far this one definitely has the best overall storyline, although The Old Oak Door is a very close second.This is a spooky, ominous run I appreciated gettinginsight from Fink and Cranor and the thought that goes into writing an episode and truly developing this world.
