place between Ellie who has returned to her home town and Nate who is a retired FBI agent but if I m honest it doesn t seem to be what s driving the book I do realise that many of this authors fans expect hot romance from her stories but for me it was all about the mystery and just why everything was happening.This was unusual in that I couldn t really detect any red I will start by saying that this book is a stand alone novel that is primarily a suspense driven story There is a romance taking place between Ellie who has returned to her home town and Nate who is a retired FBI agent but if I m honest it doesn t seem to be what s driving the book I do realise that many of this authors fans expect hot romance from her stories but for me it was all about the mystery and just why everything
