Okay let me tell you about this book and not because technically I kind of have to review it but because I just really need an outlet for what I m feeling after finishing it THIS BOOK is very different from The Wicker King but it s also very similar But kind of not I M ALREADY NOT MAKING SENSE HERE but I m really trying The Weight of the Stars throws you in an initially seemingly familiar contemporary YA setting You have a MC, Ryann, who is a bit of a troublemaker and doesn t have a typical teenage home situation, you have the new girl at school, and you have Ryann s group of friends who don t belong anywhere so they all...First, I would like to say that I love K Ancrum with my entire heart and she is sunshine Secondly, how can any human being not love her prose 1 It s so well paced and inherently cool but at the same time dark aesthetic af 2 You feel like you re still living on earth, but at the same time you re swept up into this surreal dream you have chills all over 3 It s really special.I admit that sometimes the characters seem a little maybe too formal about some things There is First, I would like to say that I love K Ancrum with my entire heart and she is sunshine Secondly, how can any human being not love her prose 1 It s so well paced and inherently cool but at the same time dark aesthetic af 2 You feel like you re still living on earth, but at the same time you re swept up into this surreal dream you have chills all over 3 It s really special.I admit that sometimes the characters seem a little maybe too formal about some things There is some dialogue that feels like the characters are all psychologists therapists discussing things rather than asshole human beings which is everyone in a K Ancrum novel BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I OVERLOOK IT COMPLETELY There s also such diversity Her first book The Wicker King is about two boys who fall in love there is a sprinkle of polyam...
