character It is clear he sees the world in a very narrow way, to his detriment and also Phoebe s, his girlfriend for most of the novel When focused on Will s POV the novel soars It is uneven though when focusing on John Leal and Phoebe and that s a shame as they are both integral to the novel s climax I would have loved to see This novel about a young woman becoming immersed with a cult is
