stand alone Across the Horizon was starring two of the side characters Porter s brother and Charlotte s best friend I was ecstatic to read it Aly s books and writing are always amazing and this book witty banter and how they fell in love even though the timing was awful for both of them My only complaint is that I wantedtime after their conflict was resolved before the epilogue It would ve been nice experiencing them getting through their struggles together and finding their individual happiness while leaning on each other I also was left with a few unanswered questions in the end that leave author I read 52% of this book so I have no problem giving it a rating or reviewing it.I have only read one other book previously by Aly Martinez and I simply adored it The Fall Up which was a total 5
