literally NOTHING happens At all Even the end fight was far from being interesting I don t need five billion tons of blood and war in my shifter romances, but at least A LITTLE bit of suspense, especially when the book starts with a scene like this, a vision about the gruesome and painful deaths of the weak and young pride members Well, I did read books, were nothing other than a muchthan that The characters have depth, the conflict feels so real and the romance made my heart pound Highly recommend My Rating 5 starsNice little read Wouldn t say this was original but it was a good shifter story, with some likeable characters in it.This is the first paranormal romance that I have read by May Sage and I have to say I enjoyed it She did a great job creating a world where humans know about shifters but they don t necessarily trust them And frankly can you blame humans for fearing what they don t fully understand until they actually interact with good shifters Raygan and Aisling are fated mates but neither really admits that fated mates exist so they both try to fight the attraction But you know you just can t fight a fate This is the first paranormal romance that I have read by May Sage and I have to say I enjoyed it She did a great job creating a world where humans know about shifters but they don t necessarily trust them And frankly can you blame humans for fearing what they don t fully understand until they actually interact with good shifters Raygan and Aisling are fated mates but neither really admits that fated mates exist so they both try to fight the attraction But you kno...It s not that there s something horrible about the book it s just that it s so perfected it s rather dull The tribe conveniently has loads of money, and they through a convenient connection go to a woman who is also loaded with money and owns property perfect for their needs She happens to be his mate Too much falls into place too easily and too soon There is no real reason for them to resist each other besides some backstory for the female character either I didn t feel invested enough It s not that there s something horrible about the book it s just that it go for a strong heroine but in a lot of the books i ve read recently they come of really annoying, bitchy or stupid not this heroine.
