take a gander So I watched And watched And watched And again, you get the picture Now I m kind of addicted to ...Aurora Teagarden and her husband Robin have finally welcomed their new baby Sophie into their family and have begun their adventure into parenting Robin is up for a pretty important award for his latest book and has planned to leave town for a couple of days for the ceremony with Roe staying at home with little Sophie However, right as Robin is packing up to leave Roe begins to feel a bit ill leaving the couple wondering if he should cancel or continue on the trip Robin gets the id...You know what I found scary about Sleep Like A Baby How much Roe s and my life are alike right now We both just had a baby her first and my last We are both nursing moms who lives revolve around our babies We both got sick she with the flu and me with strep Now she did find a dead body in her backyard and I found a dead mouse in mine So that is where the similarities end.Seriously though, Sleep Like A Baby is a wonderful continuation of the Aurora Teagarden series So easy to read, I p You know what I found scary about Sleep Like A Baby How much Roe s and my life are alike...Roe and Robin, new parents to a beautiful baby girl are adorable Their love for each other and their child is written so wonderfully Roe, is sick and Robin will be out of town so he calls in the woman who helped care for Roe and the baby before Roe is relieved she can sleep and know that all is taken care of while she recuperates Well things just can t be that easy, nope Roe wakes to her baby wailing, her care taker missing and there is a dead body in the backyard that is not the caretaker Roe and Robin, new parents to a beautiful baby girl are adorable Their love for each other and their child is written so wonderfully Roe, is sick and Robin will be out of town so he calls in the woman who helped care for Roe and the baby before Roe is relieved she can sleep and know that all is taken care of while she recuperates Well things just can t be that easy, nope Roe wakes to her baby wailing, her care taker missing and there is a dead body in the backyard that is...Now that is an interesting ending with a question that can truly be debated I won t put the question here because it is a huge spoiler I love these comfy mystery series because of the connection readers get to the characters When you do the wait for the next book then start reading it, you just feel like you are visiting old friends and playing Clue It is great It is no secret I love Charlaine Harris books because I am pretty certain she is my most read author in my GR stats but without Now that is an interesting ending with a question that can truly be debated I won t put the question here because it is a huge spoiler I love these comfy mystery series because of the connection readers get to the characters When you do the wait for the next book then start reading it, you just feel like you are visiting old friends and playing Clue It is great It is no secr...I loved this series and I have some sadness that it is over for now I m not sure if Charlaine Harris is going to continue Roe s journey, she did leave it open so we ll see Roe is like an old friend, which to feel that way about a character in a book says it all for me I laughed through 10 books and for such quick reads Charlaine Harris did an amazing job with the murder mystery in each one I never felt the story was rushed at all, nothing was left hanging or unexplained She packed the neede I loved this series and I have some sadness that it is over for now I m not sure if Charlaine Harris is going to continue Roe s journey, she did leave it open so we ll see Roe is like an old friend, which to feel that way about a character in a book says i...Why do I keep reading these when I don t like the writing or any of the characters Is it because I solve the mystery so early and it makes me feel like a genius, criminal mastermind Is it because I have some strange allegiance to the characters or a writer I ve n...I have enjoyed this series in the past, but this will likely be the last one that I read There was far too much focus on feeding the baby, changing the baby, etc I felt it detracted from the story.Another two star from the newest books in the series, yet I ll still read the next one the mystery did absolutely nothing
