White ] – kino-fada.fr 3 1 2I loved this author s other books, but Shadow s Messenger lost the freshness of her other works It was standard UF Still nice, but with an eerie deja read feeling.My biggest problem was, as usual, the heroine I liked everything about her but her stupidity which drove the story forward I don t respect ostrich Above all, her willing ignorance hadn t much sense, she wasn t hiding from the para, she had been working for them for 2 years So no, her ignorance wasn t only stupid, it wa 3 1 2I loved this author s other books, but Shadow s Messenger lost the freshness of her other works It was standard UF Still nice, but with an eerie deja read feeling.My biggest problem was, as usual, the heroine I liked everything about her but her stupidity which drove the story forward I don t respect ostrich Above all, her willing ignorance hadn t much sense, she wasn t hiding from the para, she had been working for them for 2 years So no, her ignorance wasn t only stupid, it ...Right all I can say is that when a Mexican cartel comes for you in the middle of the night, and delivers you to my cellar to spend the rest of your days writing books for me, it s your own DAMN fault, T.A When I started this book, I sat thinking, this is a really great book, why have I taken so long to read any of T.A s books Only to discover it and all...The book Shadows messenger An Aileen Travers Novel by T.A White started out interesting but quickly turned into annoyance and disappointment Compared to the other books i read from this author this was underperforming.In short too many and useless inner monologues and an annoying heroine acting childish and hypocritical Again one of those books where you get stuck too frequently in the head of the main character The heroine s thoughts dominate the book The storyline is constantly interr The book Shadows messenger An Aileen Travers Novel by T.A White started out interesting but quickly turned into annoyance and disappointment Compared to the other books i read from this author this was underperforming.In short too many and ...Good paranormal creature mix No romance which I would have liked The h is a mixture of tough stubbornness and bumbling amateur It looks like the start to a series which would be fun to continue Not an earth shatt...3.5 This has all the UF staples vamps, werewolves, witches, etc and doesn t really offer anything new, plus the heroine is borderline TSTL at times and there are several incidents that are way too coincidental.HOWEVER That being said, I did warm up to the MC and I had a lot of fun reading about how she d get out of each situation The book also has 2 hot, beautiful males and, gasp there is no instalust or romance to be had Hurray Pretty refreshing to read from time to time, and you won 3.5 This has all the UF staples vamps, werewolves, witches, etc and doesn t really offe...The first book in this series, Shadow s Messenger is good, but the main character can be a bit unlikable, being SO stubborn and SO independent you question her her redeeming qualities She doesn t appear to really get along with anyone at all However, TA White is a good writer and I wanted to stick with Aileen s story What I want to pass along about this series to other readers is that this series gets a lot better with each book Aileen grows on y...Sorry guys I know you get tired of me saying I love books but once again this one kept me interested and enjoying the story I stick with YA novels because I read to enjoy myself As long as the story can make me laugh, cry or be amazed...New must read author for meVery good T.A White is fast becoming one of the authors I will buy and know that the book will be interesting Her plots and characters are solid.I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book It s a refreshing take on the vampire werewolf genre with a strong female lead, an interesting backdrop, and a host of well written characters I loved the storyline and how different parts of Columbus are woven into the background I would put this ...
