think of different ways to start this review, but this was the only sentence that encapsulated the entirety of my reaction I ve read the first in the series, Obsidian Son, and had a rather negative reaction, so I thought I d give the author a chance Sometimes it might take a writer time to find their feet, and I d read a number of glowing reviews about this series Surely they couldn t be wrong
