impossible task or so I might have said before encountering this, the best translation of the Book I have ever read What a wonderful irony that Heaney s last gift to the public is a book about the to this particular book being rooted partially in his own father ...4.5 starsThis was amazing Seriously, if you read any poetry this year, make sure you pick this up At 14.99 it s probably too expensive for what is only 50 pages just over 1000 lines of poetry but it has a nice, sophisticated looking cover at least It s slightly cheaper onthough I dearly, dearly wish he d translated the
