Read The Twins in the Wood – kino-fada.fr Even though Anne Reid s reading is pleasant to listen to, I didn t find the plot of this tale very engaging, to be honest 1 A female character the sister, Ella ruling alongside her brother 1 Gallifrey makes an appearance 1 No romantic sublot anywhere, quite refreshing when it comes to mo...Decently written, and Gallifrey makes a not so surprise entrance the cover is a dead giveaway A nice take on the tale of Hansel and Gretel, but it didn t have much else going for it Still, worth the time it took to read it.I really enjoyed this However, I would have liked some additional input from the sister I was able to imagine the two worlds and the animal companions, which is quite an accomplishment considering the length of the book Fun, fast and fantastical.I like that the gifts included books, and that the twins would rule together in contrast with patriarchal laws of primogeniture, in which the boy would have been the ruler.It s super cute buuuuuut I want to know what happens next I can t decide if that s the mark of a good short fairy tale or annoying.Enjoyable readKind of boring since all the action happens off the page But it was cool that Gallifrey got to be included in one of these Time Lord Fairy TalesI want to say this is Brother and Sister by Grimm, but I m not 100% sure never the less, it was equally entertaining to listen to.
