also quite a few mysteries to puzzle out My one complaint is the cliffha...Can I just say how much I loved Emily Lovecraft Smart, well read, profane, tough, funny, not easily impressed, and just a wonderful character Dan was interesting, too, but I suspect Dan was interesting because of his interactions with Emily Their conversations made the book for me I want to spen...3.5 stars rounded down
