this book through a GoodReads giveaway It was a quick read, but it didn t really do much for me The characters were under developed and kind of flat More of a backstory would have helped.Insomma, Harper for her kindness I enjoyed this book and I m gladly giving it a review After finding out Harper s books I knew I had to read them I have had a fascination for Vikings since I was 12 and read Sandra Carvalho s books, even though those are Fantasy and Historical Romances So, last night when I was reading the book, I had to stop for a moment and just let my heart go through all the saudade.Just for those that don t know, saudaI received a copy of this book, and I m truly thankful to Harper for her kin...Loved this heroine The Viking world was really well drawn and totally compelling.As Viking Romances go this one is pretty middle of the road Eirik the Northman spies the heroine Merewyn on the shore, raids her castle and her sister in law gives her to him in the hopes he ll leave them alone He then takes her home as his slave and promptly falls in love with her But while it s Ok to have a bed slave a Jarl must marry and his father has plans for him that don t
