this volume is of course the stuff with Chewie Rocket and his big mouth have let it slip that he thinks Carol s cat is a Flerken If true, she would be the last of her kind And her kind are able to create pathways to pocket dimensions Or something like tha Rocket Chewie steal the show in Stay Fly Warning Sorta Kinda Spoilers Ahead Honestly, if you ve been reading this title, you saw this coming, but the spoiler warning is for the whiner babies You know who you areT...Not as solid as the first one but I liked the ending a lotmaybelike 3.7 3.8 I didn t enjoy this volume as much as Captain Marvel s first volume It felt really disconnected to me all of the issues included didn t really fit into a common story arc The first 2 had their own arc about the cat flerken, which I wasn t too captivated by thought the Rocket Raccoon cameo was appreciated The next 2 issues I honestly just didn t understand It was all about a rockstar who could travel to other dimensions or galaxies I couldn t tell and made Ca maybelike 3.7 3.8 I didn t enjoy this volume as much as Captain Marvel s first volume It felt really disconnected to me all of the issues included didn t really fit into a common story arc The first 2 had their own arc about the cat flerken, which I wasn t too captivated by thought the Rocket Raccoon cameo was appreciated The next 2 issues I honestly just didn t understand It was all about a rockstar who could travel to other dimensions or galaxies I couldn t tell and made Captain Marvel help her out of her unwanted engagement, which seemed like an odd job for Carol The rest of the volume actually got interesting was it one issue two I m not sure there was an old enemy of Carol s I don t know if I m supposed to know her or what that broke out of jail and wants to fight Carol, and Carol returns to Earth to confront her, and there s a friend of Carol s who is in a coma and I m not entirely sure what s going on...I would be dishonest if I said this volume wasn t a bit of a letdown after how much I loved Higher, Faster, Further, More I still love the art I still love the characters I still love the sense of humor But the three stories that make up this particular volume were just so lightweight Almost bordering on the absurd One of these would probably have been okay, but three in a row knocked this down a sta...Totally bonkers and a bit confusing, but nevertheless great funSome funny bits but Captain Marvel just doesn t jive with me I think I ll like the movie though I hope.If you re not a fan of Captain Marvel, this issue probably isn t going to make you into one The three storylines are relatively light, though there is some sweet stuff parts where Spider woman, Rhodey, Kit, Tic and Chewie all appear One of the storylines focuses on Chewie, in fact, with Rocket Raccoon along for the ride There s also a nice bit with Tracy, continuing the theme of her relationship with Carol.A lot of this is funny silly, and I l...in space, no one can hear you MEOWWWHISSSS shut up, I m dying, I m dead, I m 20 ghostsLOOK AT THE COVER OF THIS, IT S LITERALLY RAINING CATS ON HER fine, cat like aliensI can t deal with how fun and sweet and badass this all is I CANNOT deal.
