described as brisk efficiency I can understand her desire not to bog down the narrative, but since Maisie is already constantly harking back to time spent with her mentor or her service in World War I to her she was relatable This novel, however, takes all of her negative qualities and magnifies them times 1000 and it s almost too much to handle.Let s take a look at the first part of the book where
