there are some doctrinal things I don t personally agree with and some of the divine intervention stuff vergedon speculative fiction than real life But still this book and series is enjoyable, and the world building is done so well speculative fiction authors could take a few notes The fictional kingdom of Brighton is very well developed with hundreds of years of hist I finally got around to it didn t make out that our lives are perfect because we have decided to follow Christ, and showed the ups and downs along the way While I still feel I probably enjoyed the first book in the series
