better What though Structurally it is incredibly well done The mystery is interesting, the suspense builds perfectly, it all comes together in a way that makes sense, and it is a short easy read But it left me utterly cold I was not invested in the characters or their lives much at all and therefore the stakes weren t as high as they should have been I also found myself mostly perplexed by the
