Ruta Sepetys It has that young, innocent but depressing feel of what a war can bring.I loved the characters and their strong willed points of view, especially when it came to making tough decisions or not forget It was well written by the author especially since the subject matter was quite difficult in places.I felt the end was a little rushed I would have ...I really liked this book it describes aspects of the Holocaust that are rarely taken into consideration.More than once I had goosebumps reading this story The only thing I didn t like were the spelling and grammar mistakes ...A very real look at life after the Holocaust It s not pretty Nor is it meant to be It tugs at the heart strings it makes your stomach roll in distaste It makes your skin crawl, your chest ache It makes ...Through the eyes of a childI liked the child s perspective It tells a lot about why a child reacts to severe trauma There is nothing that I disliked about the story, except that it happened to so many and is incredibly horrible.
