like this one It is available in the kindle librarySteampunk novella that wasn t difficult to follow even though I haven t read any other books in the series I felt a little short changed in character development, however Perhaps the longer novels will beto my liking.Kindle Unlimited.This was a quick and great read I love the Steampunk aspect to this series Ms Brooks does a bang up job incorporating the Steampunk parts This is not your check the list to make it feel like steampunk story The conflict in this story is well done The suspense and anticipation to figure out why Elizabeth is so afraid of her father is just right I like the tension I had several guesses and whilst I wasn t dead on, I was warm It was a bit disturbing and I liked how the story resolved I This was a quick and great read I love the...I liked this novella, but I think it would work better as a full length novel I wantedworldbuilding,information on how the relationships became what they were, andof the story told in present time rather than as memories flashbacks But I tend to like storylines where the love interests hate each other because they like each other So rational, I know, but I like it
