Greg Iles almost 800 page thriller, but I ve got some serious issues with this story 1 Too many loose ends for a novel this size What happens to Viola s son Was it purely a Mercy killing Why was the good Doctor cavorting with the Klansmen, as portrayed in the incriminating photo and at the time of the murder 2 All the positive Black characters get killed off, one notably in effort to sa...Holy smokes This was quite a page turner A good old mystery, family secrets and lots of drama I really enjoyed this book and will look into readingof Iles s books in the future.Are you kidding, Greg Iles I
