their memories of their past life and were fully conscious of this from the moment of birth The book followed the first twenty one years of the new lives of Cattie Brie, Bruennor, and Regis as they one book I have read every book published in the Forgotten Realms and I can say this brings me back to the golden age of Realms books No spoilers but all of our favorite characters return and it feels As with all of his books, there is lots of action and it is beautifully written So many twists and turns as you would expect when dealing with a bunch of drow The only complaint I really have is the huge list of characters With most of them characters having complicated and long drow names, first and last as well as house names and titles it started to become a little confusing at times Would that I found boring like the parts in Menzoberranza Mainly because of the repetition that kept happening This was mainly the same things had to be repeated to different characters over and over again The Drow are the most treacherous and manipulative race and it is so interwoven into their Menzoberranzan society it is hard to keep up with everything but this does not mean that we need a recap
