downloaded it because I was so excited But sadly, it was a disappointment There was too much casual sex, MC Eric s ex wife was too much of a bitch, MC Tom was too much of a doormat, I didn t believe the insta love for one minute, the bigoted community members were a laughingstock and the arson sub plot was ridiculous and far too ea Oh, how I love my firefighters, so I really, really wanted to love this book I pre ordered it, got on the VIP list to get it early and started reading it the day I downloaded it because I was so excited But sadl...I am always up for some hot sexy Fireman 2.5 Burning Stars Not a bad start for this MM firefighter series There was some insta love happeningbut I got past that And practically every other character in this book were homophobic fuckers Seriously1 Pick a completely in love hetero couple 2 Now, remove breasts and vagina and replace with penis 3 That sums it up Had to abandon2.5 stars rounded to 3I went into this with high hopes Especially since it centers around two firefighters It started out really well, but by 50% I pretty well knew how it was going to turn out.Tom moves from Texas to Arizona to get a new start and falls the main characters Not a horrible story by any means but it lacked that extra bit of pizzazz to take it above being mediocre I didn t think the insta love worked well in this case and I wasn t shocked or surprised when the perpetrator was revealed Shame because I think it had potential Not for me this time but the writing style has a nice easy Sorry to say but I was disappointed with this I love a sexy fireman story and this had a decent premise but I just couldn t connect to the story or the main characters Not a horrible story by any means but it lacked that extra bit of pizzazz to the execution of this story left me wanting The dialogue was quite stiff and full of soppy endearments which I normally don t mind at all but there were just too many too fast , the pacing was off, characterisations cliched, and we didn t even meet the evil doer until he was caught I had high hopes for this but was left feeling let down and...2.5 stars rounded up to 3 I loved the premise of this book, and some parts we re really good, but the I m in love after 2 days and the obviousness of where this was going and by whom was a little blah for me His ex wife was a mega bitch I get why she was so upset but get over yourself lady.
