for yourself, bullying, and acts of kindness I enjoyed the cartoon like illustrations with all of Ben s pathways and facial expressions just as much as the text.I really enjoyed this picture book and liked having it as part of a text collection on bullying Apparently, so did one of my students since it disappeared I searched for it for seve...I love the illustrations in this story When the text says With his gleaming new machine he could take the long way the illustration shows a sign pointing to Watson Elementary School , and Ben riding the opposite direction And there is a wonderful image of a grinning Ben who has just discovered his bully in a significant spot of trouble The vocabulary is excellent gleaming, devastated, peculiar, perilously , the story is very funny, and the moral is
