on ravens was absolutely amazing Craig Childs is a superb writer, and this was a favorite book of mine from last year These essays relate almost spiritual like encounters with animals Highly the wild, some merely curious encounters and some very nearly life threatening There is an organic poetic sensibility in his writing as well, one that demonstrates his understanding not only of animal
