Yeah, I loved this book For real I love the mix of modern with historical Kate Cross created a world that felt real to me Not only did she create this wonderful fantastical world, but she created a impressive Company presence, she has thrown it all away in a second to avenge her brother, also a company age...Well, I liked this one better than Heart of Brass, primarily because I found Claire to be muchlike able than Arden I m not totally sold on this series but the 3rd book, Breath of Iron, is about Dr Evelyn Stone Dr Stone has intrigued me from the beginning and I do want to learnabout her backstory.I really didn t like this one solely because I hated both of the main characters, Alistair and Claire Alistair was a traditional male IMO he despised this woman because she worked for the Company, the Wardens enemies Yet throughout the entire story he whines on how attracted he is to her, but he can t be with her, but he finds her attractive, but shes the enemy.on and on Claire is no better She started out like a cool female role independant, fearless, ruthlesswhen she goes off on thi I really didn t like this one solely because I hated both of the main characters, Alistair and
