fiction, several slightly deeper themes make the sweetnesssatisfying It offers a refreshing middle path between new fiction which leans towards the sadder extremes of human experience and that which artificially sweetens it for pure escapism In this respect it reminded me of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, though that comparison shouldn t be taken too far.The plot, which fol
