author when she was writing as Kathryn Smith and I thoroughly enjoyed this new move into steampunk This book has spies, murder mystery, love and hot sex in the world of steam In some ways the characters are very modern and in other ways you are strongly reminded that the setting is also Victorian England There is a female prime minister and a female director of the W.O.R wardens of the realm but the aristocracy and a young lady s reputation are still of paramount importance Ar I loved this author when she was writing as Kathryn Smith and I thoroughly enjoyed this new move into
